SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR RECOVERONIX SOFTWARE

This Software License Agreement ("SLA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Recoveronix Ltd. for the Recoveronix software product identified above, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this SLA. If you do not agree to the terms of this SLA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT; you may, however, return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this SLA. If you do not agree to the terms of this SLA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT; you may, however, return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

1 GRANT OF LICENSE. This SLA grants you the following rights:

· Applications Software. You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or any prior version for the same operating system, on a single computer. The primary user of the computer on which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed may make a second copy for his or her exclusive use on a portable computer.

· Storage/Network Use. You may also store or install a copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a storage device, such as a network server, used only to install or run the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on your other computers over an internal network; however, you must acquire and dedicate a license for each separate computer on which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed or run from the storage device. A license for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be shared or used concurrently on different computers.

· License Pack. If you have acquired this SLA in a Recoveronix License Pack, you may make the number of additional copies of the computer software portion of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT accordingly to the number of licenses acquired (stated in receipt), and you may use each copy in the manner specified above. You are also entitled to make a corresponding number of secondary copies for portable computer use as specified above.

· Demo. If you have acquired this SLA with Recoveronix SOFTWARE PRODUCT labeled as demo version of another Recoveronix SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you are granted unlimited number of SLA's, and you may use unlimited number of copies in the manner specified above.

2 DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.

· Not for Resale Software. Notwithstanding other sections of this SLA, you may not resell, or otherwise transfer for value, the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

· Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.

· Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

· Rental. You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

· Support Services. Recoveronix may provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). Use of Support Services is governed by the Recoveronix policies and programs described in "online" documentation, and/or in other Recoveronix-provided materials. Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this SLA. With respect to technical information you provide to Recoveronix as part of the Support Services, Recoveronix may use such information for its business purposes, including for product support and development. Recoveronix will not utilize such technical information in a form that personally identifies you.

· Software Transfer. You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this SLA, provided you retain no copies, you transfer all of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including all component parts, the media and printed materials, any upgrades, this SLA, and, if applicable, the Certificate of Authenticity), and the recipient agrees to the terms of this SLA. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an upgrade, any transfer must include all prior versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

· Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Recoveronix may terminate this SLA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this SLA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.

3 UPGRADES. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled as an upgrade, you must be properly licensed to use a product identified by Recoveronix as being eligible for the upgrade in order to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. A SOFTWARE PRODUCT labeled as an upgrade replaces and/or supplements the product that formed the basis for your eligibility for the upgrade. You may use the resulting upgraded product only in accordance with the terms of this SLA. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an upgrade of a component of a package of software programs that you licensed as a single product, the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be used and transferred only as part of that single product package and may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

4 COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Recoveronix or its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material except that you may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You may not copy the printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

5 DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. You may receive the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in more than one medium. Regardless of the type or size of medium you receive, you may use only one medium that is appropriate for your single computer. You may not use or install the other medium on another computer. You may not loan, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the other medium to another user, except as part of the permanent transfer (as provided above) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECOVERONIX AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT, AND THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RECOVERONIX OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT OR THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES, EVEN IF RECOVERONIX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ANY CASE, RECOVERONIX'S ENTIRE LIABILITY UNDER ANY PROVISION OF THIS SLA SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT OR U.S.$5.00. BECAUSE SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

FreeUndelete review

A friend mentioned a couple of days ago that he had accidentally deleted some images from his camera (xD) card. I said I could undelete them for him if he didn't use the card meantime. However, I couldn't find the programme I'd used once before for the same task, so I searched the 'net and found FreeUndelete. FreeUndelete recovered the "lost" images. My friend was delighted and thinks I'm really clever. The program was easy to use - I didn't need to read the Help (which incidentally doesn't come up on my PC by pressing F1 or selecting it from the top menu, but only by selecting FreeUndelete Help from the Windows XP Start Menu. FreeUndelete can recover deleted files from hard drives,floppy disks, USB drives and camera cards provided they haven't been over-written. It does was it is supposed to do - what more is necessary?

FREE CAMERA UNDELETE

I consider myself an Intermediate level user. I do not like dealing with new software. It is like going to the dentist. However I accidently deleted some valued digital photos from my Memory Stick. I asked around. Everybody I asked had sympathy but believed I could not recover. I went to a computer club. First person I asked recommended FREE UNDELETE. I googled the phrase and initially downloaded another product. That product demonstrated the deleted digital could be identified but would not recover same until you bought the product. I said try one more. The next was FREE UNDELETE. It downloaded very easy without confusion. I executed the program and with minimum ease had recovered my 20+ photos in a very short duration of time. I highly recommend this program.

Good but not perfect

I had two problems--a flash drive and an XD card that had been in a computer that was improperly shut down. FreeUndelete worked great on the Flash Drive but it would not 'find' the 1 GB XD card in the card reader. I had to use another--slower, less friendly--undelete program to save the photos on the XD card. However, I have already recommended FreeUndelete to others in my office for its speed and ease of use. Add XD card file retrieval and it will be perfect.

works well but a few negatives

The interface is very straightforward and easy to use.

Includes the basic features required for a simple undelete program but it would be very nice to have a 'date deleted' column and the ability to move up and down through folders via simple 'back' and 'forward' buttons. Recovers folder structures intact - very important.

Very easy to use program.

Price/Value? It's free! For this 'price' I cannot and do not expect a full-blown recovery program with all the bells and whistles - but it would be nice to have the two features mentioned above along with an explorer type interface with the '+' and '-' to view folders in depth at a glance.

These few additions would change the ratings to very good or excellent.

Will definitely recommend to friends and colleagues!

Sorry it didn`t work

Tried to undelete a picture that had been accidently erased and the free undelete not only didn't work but it didn't even find the deleted file in the first place.

I had the program crashed, while scaning the SD-Card.

Could not use

Could not use. All drives are formatted "NTFS" using approx 25% of available disk space. Windows XP professional operating system Ver 2002 SP 2. Message:"Undelete is not supported" is all that shows up when running undelete for all drives (local and networked).

Product is not useable on this machine.

what I found about FreeUndelete

I used it but your program was not what I was looking for. I wanted to re-vitalized files that have been lost due to fusion of partitions on a friend's computer.
I did not install your program on this computer as XP system was already re-installed, I was trying your program on my computer to test it first and I realized that your program would not be useful in the circumstances.
